How to Use This Calculator

1. Enter your bonus details

Input the bonus amount from the casino's promotion page. Select your currency — this tool supports CAD, USD, GBP, AUD, NZD, EUR, and ZAR.

2. Check the wagering type

Some casinos apply wagering to the bonus only (e.g. 35x bonus = wager 35× your bonus). Others apply it to bonus + deposit (e.g. 35x on both = much higher total). Read the T&Cs carefully — the difference is massive.

3. Set the RTP

Most online slots have an RTP (return to player) of 94–97%. The industry average is about 96%. If you're playing live blackjack (RTP ~99.5%), adjust accordingly. Higher RTP = lower expected losses during wagering.

4. Check the max cashout

Many no deposit bonuses have a max cashout cap — e.g. you can only withdraw a maximum of $50 regardless of winnings. Enter this to see your true maximum win.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a wagering requirement?
A wagering requirement (also called playthrough) is the number of times you must bet your bonus before you can withdraw winnings. For example, a $50 bonus with 35x wagering means you must place $1,750 worth of bets before cashing out.
Is 35x wagering good?
35x is about average for the industry. Anything under 30x is genuinely good. Under 20x is excellent. Over 50x is almost always mathematically unfavourable — your expected losses from wagering will exceed the bonus value.
Do all games count equally towards wagering?
No. Slots typically count 100%, but blackjack, roulette, baccarat and live casino games often count only 10–20% (or nothing). Always read the T&Cs. If you play blackjack at 10% contribution, a 35x requirement effectively becomes 350x.
What happens if I hit the max cashout cap?
Any winnings above the cap are forfeited. For example, if you win $200 but the max cashout is $50, you only get $50. This is why max cashout limits are just as important as wagering requirements.
Does this calculator work for UK, Australian, and NZ players?
Yes. Select your currency (GBP, AUD, or NZD) and all calculations update automatically. Wagering requirement rules work the same way regardless of country — the maths is universal.
